- Site Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Act as the registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book to ensure strict compliance with local OSH regulations, company standards, and statutory reporting requirements across operational sites.
- Risk Management & Workplace Inspections: Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental risk mitigations for machinery operation, chemical handling, and site processes.
- Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, near-misses, and operational issues using 5-Why methodology to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- HSE Training & Committee Leadership: Plan and deliver internal safety training programs and serve as the Secretary for the Safety and Health Committee to drive continuous OSH awareness.
- Emergency Preparedness & Security Support: Maintain site emergency response plans, coordinate safety drills, conduct security audits, and enforce company security policies.
- HSE Data Management & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and maintain site HSE statistics, incident records, and compliance documentation for monthly management reviews and audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) holding a valid DOSH Green Book.
- Experienced in delivering internal HSE training programs, with Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification considered an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of local safety, health, and environmental legal compliance, regulations, and statutory standards.
- Strong communication skills with a track record of effectively engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
