Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg), the largest and leading industrial gas company in South-east Asia, employs 800 people recognized for their high level of expertise to provide gases, equipment, services and packaged solutions to support the requirements of the Singapore manufacturing industry.
- Coordinate internally and support BD in the most competitive economical & technical costing/solution compliant to the specification and in compliance with AL, industry standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop mutually beneficial technical proposals/commercial offers to customers.
- Support risk assessment, clarify scope and provide technical input to ensure a safe and reliable offer.
- Ensure the compliance of the project to AL rules and systems and in accordance to the relevant external rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with Strategic Planning Manager in problem solving, resourcing and budgeting activities.
- Develop and implement project budget control strategies for specialty gas & chemical equipment.
- Ensure alignment of project procurement plans (PPP) with actual budget allocations.
- Support procurement planning for specialty gas & chemical equipment, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Establish workflows for budget tracking, cost forecasting, and project financial compliance.
- Provide periodic reports on budget performance, cost trends, and procurement efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions on strategic planning, budget control, and procurement processes.
- Drive programs to improve project cost to meet efficiency.
- Identify single source issues and drive mitigation plan for new/additional competitive suppliers
- Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or other technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in project management/cost control/strategic planning in industrial activities
- Strong analytical mindset with a high proficiency in handling complex data and numbers.
- Proven ability to perform budget forecasting alongside scenario and variance analysis.
- Experience creating and managing dashboards for budget tracking, cost monitoring, and trend reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools is added advantage
- Skilled at assessing financial and operational data to drive strategic decision-making and identify budget inefficiencies.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to align finance, procurement, and engineering teams toward strategic goals.
- Knowledge in AUTOCAD is added advantage.
