What We Offer
~2 min readTotal Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.
Support the safe transfer of materials to the storage area by following established documentation and safety procedures.
Contribute to emergency preparedness and safe material handling by following our shared safety protocols for spills and container preparation.
Partner with the team on waste minimization initiatives and maintain a helpful understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED or 5+ years related work experience
2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good communication skills
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment
Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements
Self motivated to learn
Electro-mechanical aptitude
Able to understand and abide by stringent safety and quality rules
Display aptitude for working an emergency/high stress situation and performing problem solving actions properly and safely
Demonstrated ability to train junior technicians
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 60 lbs
Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day
Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)
Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)
Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
