At Air Products, we are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to support corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting activities across multiple legal entities and countries.
Working within an international tax environment, you will combine strong accounting knowledge with hands-on financial data analysis. You will prepare and review corporate tax computations, evaluate the accounting impact of tax adjustments, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external tax advisers.
This is an operational role for someone who enjoys working with detailed financial information, large datasets, and complex accounting and tax matters.
Prepare and review corporate income tax computations and related compliance deliverables for multiple legal entities.
Analyse balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, general ledger information, and accounting entries to identify relevant tax impacts.
Review current and deferred tax adjustments and explain how they affect tax calculations and financial statements.
Extract, prepare, reconcile, and validate financial data from ERP systems and other sources.
Manage and analyse large datasets using advanced Excel functionality.
Prepare accurate information for external tax advisers and critically review their calculations and recommendations.
Work with finance, accounting, tax, and other stakeholders across different countries and business areas.
Help maintain effective documentation, controls, and working practices for corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting.
Substantial hands-on experience in corporate income tax compliance, including preparing or reviewing corporate tax computations.
Strong tax accounting and financial accounting knowledge.
A thorough understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, general ledger entries, and the accounting impact of tax adjustments.
The ability to work independently with underlying financial data rather than relying solely on external advisers or prepared reports.
Advanced Excel capability, including preparing and manipulating large datasets and using functions beyond basic lookups.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to investigate and challenge unexpected results.
Professional fluency in English, as interviews and day-to-day stakeholder interactions will be conducted in English.
