Aizer Health is expanding its Sunday specialty dental services and is seeking current residents and fellows in the following specialties:

• Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

to provide care on select Sundays throughout the month.

• Sundays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling with opportunities ranging from one Sunday per month to multiple Sundays per month
• Additional weekdays may be available based on provider interest and patient demand

• →Perform surgical consultations and treatment planning
• →Conduct routine and complex extractions, including impacted third molars when appropriate
• →Evaluate and manage oral pathology and surgical conditions
• →Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• →Collaborate with referring providers and dental specialists

• →Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• →Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provider meetings
• →Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in accordance with organizational standards
• →Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative support staff

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Current New York State Dental License
• DEA registration and applicable sedation privileges (if appropriate)

• Experience working in a community health center or public health setting
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Experience with Dexis digital radiography
• Bilingual skills are a plus
