Security Platform Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security systems and procedures to protect our company's assets and data. You will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

• → Security Implementation and Maintenance:
• →Implement and maintain security technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and other security tools.
• →Configure and monitor security systems to detect and respond to security threats.
• → Vulnerability Management:
• →Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify 1 security weaknesses
• → Incident Response:
• →Participate in security incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• →Analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents.
• → Security Assessments and Audits:
• →Perform security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• →Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation and procedures.
• → Security Monitoring and Analysis:
• →Monitor security systems and logs for suspicious activity and potential security threats.
• →Analyze security data and generate reports to identify trends and patterns.
• → Security Policy and Procedure Implementation:
• →Assist in the implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• →Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices.
• → Security Awareness and Training:
• →Provide technical input for security awareness programs to employees on information security best practices and procedures.
• → Technology Research:
• →Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization

• →Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer or similar role.
• →Strong understanding of security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• →Experience with incident response and security investigations.
• →Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• →Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• →Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• →Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
