The Department of Paediatrics, within the Division of Women and Child Health, is engaged in research activities that support the advancement of child health through high-quality evidence generation and field-based projects. The department works closely with research teams and subject matter experts to conduct systematic reviews, data collection activities, and scholarly publications that contribute to improved health outcomes for children.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include to:

monitor the data collection process in the field, evaluating and ensuring the accuracy of the data
write weekly reports
conduct thorough literature searches
screen and assess article eligibility based on criteria
systematically extract and analyse relevant data
evaluate study quality using established tools
prepare systematic review reports
contribute to manuscript development for publication
work closely with team members and experts
participate in regular team meetings
perform any other task assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

You should have:

MBBS
one to two years of relevant work experience
experience with paediatric patient clinical assessment
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively as a team player
good writing skills
excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Urdu, and Sindhi
comfort with working in challenging field-based settings
strong people management skills, particularly in challenging field environments
proven experience in systematic reviews
strong understanding of research methodologies
proficiency in reference management and systematic review tools
