Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Operational Oversight: Ensure optimal utilization of vessels, diving equipment, and manpower in alignment with project schedules and ADNOC Offshore expectations.
- →Client Representation: Act as ADNOC L&S's primary offshore representative to ADNOC Offshore Integrity Team, safeguarding ADNOC's operational interests and ensuring accountability from contractors (e.g., Maridive) for any off hire due to equipment or manpower deficiencies.
- →Work Continuity Assurance: Proactively monitor and manage offshore operations to prevent work stoppages, delays, or disruptions. Escalate and resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
- →Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all operational documentation (e.g., dive logs, safety records, daily progress reports) is accurately completed, signed, and submitted in accordance with ADNOC standards and regulatory requirements.
- →Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the key liaison between ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC L&S, and Maridive, facilitating clear communication and alignment across all parties involved in vessel operations.
- →Safety & Integrity Monitoring: Oversee adherence to ADNOC's HSE protocols and integrity standards, ensuring safe diving practices and equipment reliability.
- →Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates and performance reports to ADNOC L&S management, highlighting vessel utilization, crew efficiency, and any operational risks or deviations.
- →Manpower Management: Support the coordination and rotation of diving personnel onboard, ensuring timely crew changes and compliance with contractual terms.
- →Cost Control & Efficiency: Monitor offshore activities to identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising safety or quality.
- →Incident Response: Lead initial response and reporting for any offshore incidents involving diving operations, ensuring timely communication and documentation.
Requirements
~1 min read- Hold an IMCA-recognized Air Diving Supervisor Certificate.
- Possess a valid, up-to-date IMCA Continual Professional Development (CPD) certificate.
- Hold a Dynamic Positioning Basic Training certificate.
- Have 20 years of regular experience in the offshore diving industry.
- Have 10 years of regular experience in a supervisory position.
- Have 5 years of regular experience as a Diving Superintendent or OCM.
- Minimum 10 logged projects as Supervisor on DP vessels.
- Maintain an up-to-date Diving Supervisors logbook with a history covering the previous 5 years.
- Record of Competence as per IMCA C 003/D013.
- Hold a Safety Training certificate (OSHA, NEBOSH, NSC, or other SAPO-approved), as per Aramco CSM-CSAR requirements.
- Hold a valid Offshore Medical certificate.
- Hold an in-date BOSIET/OPITO Sea Survival & HUET certification.
- Hold an in-date OPITO H2S certification.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
