Lifting Foreman

Position: Lifting Foreman

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Salary : 6800 AED

Rotational Shift : 60/30

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize and supervise all lifting activities within the company.

2. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures during lifting operations.

3. Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.

4. Coordinate with project managers and other departments to schedule lifting operations.

5. Inspect and maintain all lifting equipment and ensure they are in good working condition.

6. Train and supervise a team of lifting operators to ensure safe and efficient execution of lifting activities.

7. Monitor and report on the progress of lifting operations to project managers.

8. Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

9. Prepare and maintain lifting records, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, and lifting plans.

10. Identify and implement improvements to lifting procedures to increase efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Foreman in the oil and gas industry.

2. Proven track record of successfully managing and supervising lifting operations.

3. In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations related to lifting operations.

4. Strong leadership and communication skills.

5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

7. Valid lifting and rigging certifications.

8. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in the oil and gas industry.

9. Proficient in using lifting equipment and tools.

10. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
