Lifting Inspector

Lifting Inspector 

Salary : 9000 AED

Rotation : 60/30 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections of all lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Perform visual and non-destructive testing to identify any defects or potential hazards

- Review and approve all lifting plans and procedures, ensuring they are in line with company policies and industry best practices

- Monitor and document all lifting activities, providing guidance and support to the lifting team as needed

- Conduct pre and post-lift inspections, including load testing, to ensure the safe operation of all lifting equipment

- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and provide detailed reports to management

- Identify and report any safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, and ensure the company's lifting operations are in compliance at all times

- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the company

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Inspector in the oil and gas industry

- Valid LEEA or equivalent certification

- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging, and safe lifting practices

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including LOLER and API RP 2D

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards

- Willingness to work in an offshore environment for extended periods of time

- Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule, including weekends and holidays if required
