Shovel Operator

Position: Shovel Operator

Location: Abu Dhabi

Salary : 3300 AED

Rotation : 90/30 

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain various types of shovels, including hydraulic and mechanical shovels, to excavate and load materials onto trucks or into designated areas

- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment

- Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations

- Keep accurate records of materials excavated and loaded, as well as any maintenance or repair work performed on equipment

- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately

- Adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines while operating equipment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

- Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating shovels in an Oil and Gas or construction setting

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair procedures

- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
