Mobile Software Development Supervisor

The Mobile Software Development Supervisor will lead and oversee multiple mobile development teams responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative fintech and card acceptance solutions across Android and iOS platforms. This role focuses on secure, high-performance applications integrated with POS terminals and backend financial systems, following ISO 7816 (smart card) and ISO 8583 (financial transaction messaging) standards. The supervisor will ensure delivery excellence, technical innovation, and compliance with financial and EMV requirements while mentoring team members and collaborating cross-functionally to drive fintech product success. Lead and supervise multiple mobile development teams (Android, iOS, and POS) to deliver fintech and payment solutions on time and within scope. Design, review, and guide the implementation of card acceptance solutions compliant with ISO 7816, ISO 8583, EMV, and payment network standards. Collaborate with backend, security, and product teams to ensure end-to-end system integrity, interoperability, and transaction security. Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and agile methodologies across all mobile development teams. Drive innovation in mobile payment applications, including NFC, SoftPOS (mPOS/mPoC), tokenization, and digital wallet integrations and also charging prepaid cards for Water. Electricity/ and Gas. Mentor and evaluate developers, providing technical direction, career development, and performance feedback. Participate in architectural design sessions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with fintech security frameworks (PCI DSS, PSD2, etc.). Monitor project KPIs, resource allocation, and risks to ensure quality releases and customer satisfaction. Requirements 8-12 years of experience in development with 2 minimum years of related leadership and team lead experience. Strong knowledge of Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development ecosystems is a plus. Proven experience in POS development (traditional and SoftPOS) and EMV kernel integration. Deep understanding of ISO 7816 (Smart Card Communication) and ISO 8583 (Financial Message Protocol). Familiarity with payment processing, NFC, contactless transaction flows, and secure key management (TPK, DUKPT, HSM). Experience integrating with payment gateways, host simulators, and switch systems. Excellent knowledge of software architecture, API integration (REST, SOAP), and mobile security frameworks. Strong leadership, team management, and project delivery skills. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development and CI/CD pipelines. Educational Background Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Additional certifications in Project Management (PMP, Scrum Master) or Payment Systems/EMV are preferred.
