Albedo is making Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) mainstream, building the infrastructure to enable every satellite mission to enter this new orbital domain. We build buses, integrated satellites, and turnkey missions for customers to thrive in VLEO, below 300 km, where proximity compounds performance and drag self-cleans debris.

Responsibilities

→Design, build, and integrate electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), including test racks, harnessing, and supporting hardware used for spacecraft integration and test.
→Support the design and execution of the flatsat testbed used for hardware/software integration,
→Perform hands-on electrical assembly, including soldering, crimping, connector assembly, cable routing, continuity checks, and harness inspection.
→Troubleshoot electrical hardware and test setups using standard lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
→Work closely with electrical, software, systems, and AI&T engineers to bring spacecraft hardware from initial design through integration and test.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
Attention to detail and an appreciation for workmanship, documentation, and repeatable hardware assembly

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, or electronics assembly
Experience building and troubleshooting electrical systems using common laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or logic analyzers.

Hourly Rate:
$25-$29/hour
