Our core competencies include systems engineering, program management, logistics, production support, aircraft maintenance, and aviation/aerospace services. We were founded in 2015 and since our establishment, we have been attracting the best talent in our fields of interest enabling us to provide cutting-edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs. We know defense and we know aircraft systems.

Albers is seeking a dedicated financial modeler on the COO's team, the person who turns messy, fast-moving deal and operating data into a number leadership can act on. You will own integrated models, support live M&A and divestitures end to end, and carry the financial workstream. One week you are reconstructing a receivables position for internal decision-making, the next you are building a three-year forecast for a prospective equity partner on a tight timeline. The variety is the job.

This is a high-exposure seat. You will work directly with the COO and SVP of M&A Integration, alongside the CFO's team and the deal principals, and you will see how an acquisitive defense platform actually runs underneath the hood.

  • Build and own integrated financial models from the ground up: three-statement models, P&L forecasts, contract and backlog waterfalls, and program-level builds across our business verticals.
  • Tie forecasts to signed backlog, bookings, and the annual operating plan, and keep the model honest when source systems disagree.
  • Support M&A from diligence through close: build and pressure-test target models, valuation and multiple analysis, returns work, and quality-of-earnings reading.
  • Run post-close integration on the numbers: integration checklists, carve-out and divestiture support, and folding acquired financials into Albers reporting.
  • Produce investor and lender deliverables on tight timelines and be ready to defend every assumption.
  • Reconstruct and reconcile financial positions under deadline (receivables and payables, working capital, purchase-price allocations) and catch the gaps and errors others miss.
  • Stand up repeatable model and diligence packages so the next deal starts from a system, not a blank page.
  • Due diligence, integration work managing several other inter-departmental teammates.
