Albers Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Logistics & Tool Control Specialist to support MQ-9 deployed operations in a dynamic and mission-focused environment. This position is responsible for managing supply, logistics, inventory, tool control, and maintenance support functions necessary to sustain aircraft operations at remote and deployed locations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in military aviation logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations, tool control, and property accountability. This role requires the ability to operate independently in austere environments while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), customer, and company requirements.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities supporting MQ-9 aircraft operations and maintenance.
- →Perform inventory management, warehouse operations, material control, storage management, and property accountability functions.
- →Receive, inspect, issue, store, ship, inventory, and turn in aircraft parts, support equipment, tools, and related assets.
- →Process and track requisitions for aircraft parts, components, engines, support equipment, and consumable materials.
- →Monitor supply status, backorders, and outstanding requisitions to ensure timely support of operational requirements.
- →Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic inventories, audits, and reconciliations.
- →Utilize supply systems and databases to track material movement, status, and accountability.
- →Serve as Tool Control Program Coordinator and maintain accountability of all tools and support equipment in accordance with established Tool Control Program requirements.
- →Manage tool issue, return, inspection, inventory, and accountability procedures.
- →Administer and support the Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, ensuring calibration requirements are maintained and documented.
- →Support the Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) Program and maintain accountability of assigned assets.
- →Coordinate repair, replacement, calibration, and inventory actions for tools and support equipment.
- →Assist maintenance personnel by ensuring required parts, tools, and support equipment are available to meet mission requirements.
- →Perform data entry, retrieval, validation, and reporting functions using approved logistics and maintenance systems.
- →Generate, analyze, and distribute inventory, supply, maintenance, and accountability reports.
- →Maintain archives, backups, and records supporting deployed and detachment operations.
- →Extract and interpret data to support operational planning, logistics forecasting, and management decision-making.
- →Ensure accuracy and integrity of supply and maintenance documentation.
- →Support Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) control and management activities in accordance with applicable regulations and customer requirements.
- →Ensure proper handling, storage, documentation, and disposition of hazardous materials.
- →Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, security, and operational requirements.
- →Support OCONUS deployments and remote site operations as required.
- →Operate effectively with limited supervision in deployed and austere environments.
- →Coordinate logistics support activities with maintenance personnel, operations teams, and external supply organizations.
- →Support contingency operations and mission requirements while maintaining operational readiness.
Requirements
~2 min read- Minimum four (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years in aviation logistics, supply management, inventory control, warehouse operations, property accountability, or related military logistics functions.
- Strong understanding of military supply procedures, inventory accountability, and warehouse management practices.
- Experience receiving, issuing, shipping, storing, inventorying, and tracking aircraft parts and support equipment.
- Experience with aviation maintenance logistics and material management processes.
- Knowledge of Uniform Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SM&R) codes and aircraft supply support procedures.
- Experience utilizing systems such as:

WEBFLIS
IMDS
- Maintenance and supply management databases
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced operational environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Ability to pass all deployment-related medical screenings and requirements.
- Ability to meet all OCONUS deployment requirements as a condition of employment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Prior MQ-9, RPA, UAV, or military aviation maintenance support experience.
- Experience supporting deployed military operations or contractor logistics support (CLS) environments.
- Military supply, logistics, maintenance administration, or tool control background.
- Experience serving as a Tool Control Program Coordinator, IMRL Coordinator, or METCAL Coordinator.
- Familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), Air Force logistics systems, or similar military aviation support programs.
- Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) certification or related experience.
- Experience supporting remote, overseas, or contingency operations.
- Ability to work in warehouse, flightline, hangar, and deployed operational environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift materials and equipment throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and deployment schedules as mission requirements dictate.
- Ability to travel and deploy domestically and internationally for extended periods.
