This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Associate, General Engineering (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for analyzing technology trends, designing processes, and resolving engineering issues. You will document service logs, prepare reports, and support project planning, requiring attention to detail and reliability.

• Perform business support or administrative tasks to enhance business operations through accurate task completion
• Assist in analyzing technology trends and designing new processes, as well as modifying and improving existing ones
• Evaluate and resolve issues related to manufacturing, design, quality, and material engineering
• Document and maintain service logs
• Prepare reports for product failure analysis and serviceability issues
• Support project planning and execution
• Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring quality control
• Complete all required training and contribute to organizational compliance
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to support team performance. • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations​.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 3 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work hours: Full-time, Non-exempt
