EFA Reporting Manager is critical to the global Equipment Financing Arrangements (EFA) performance for the long-term benefit of Alcon Group by ensuring accurate and timely FRA analysis. Senior management receive the reporting output to assist in driving business decisions and provide the necessary comfort for external reporting requirements.

This is an individual contributor role.

  • Business Partnering
    • Generate the consolidated KPI reports, communicate and follow-up on the observations with stakeholders
    • Attend or receive the minutes from the regional EFA committees that cover financial risks. Work with the local teams to ensure the risks are addressed and accurately reflected in the EFA reporting
    • Best practices sharing across countries by conducting trainings in the areas of EFA management to all key stakeholders in commercial and in finance
    • Be the subject matter expert and work with affiliate FRA and BPA teams to ensure accurate EFA reporting
    • Conduct the annual BCCR process in collaboration with the affiliate FRA and BPA associates. Review the output with C&R, technical accounting and CAO before implementation.
  • Technical
    • Develop deep understanding of EFA accounting rules and EFA AFCM controls
    • Build SAP experience on transactional EFA accounting
    • Develop and demonstrate advanced financial analytical skills

  • Financial compliance
    • Responsible for the C&R compliance steps over global EFA reporting
    • Review of selected affiliate EFA reporting and financial compliance over EFA accounting based on risk assessment resulting from the review of monthly reporting
    • As requested, work with Internal audit and local FRA teams in the review of EFA financial reporting (FCRS and associated AFCM controls)
    • Follow-up with local FRA teams on EFA related control observations and access the impact to global FRA reporting

  • Collaboration across C&R
    • Responsible for the first drafting of the EFA slides in the monthly closing deck and quarterly balance sheet review deck in collaboration with the other members of the C&R reporting lead team
    • Collaborate with the master data, R2R GPO and FCRS/APMR teams to ensure an efficient EFA reporting process

•                 University level degree in Accounting / Finance or Business Administration

•                 CPA or equivalent

•                 Fluency in English

•                 Relevant work experience about  5 years with strong background in: Financial Reporting & Accounting or Public Accounting

•                 Good understanding of Accounting & Reporting systems and processes

•                 Experience with ERP systems as well as relevant financial sub-systems

•                 Ability to work cross functionally and in a team environment

•                 Excellent analytical ability

•                 Strong written and oral communication skills

•                 Project management and leadership skills

•                 Self-starter and result-oriented mindset
