Technician III, Molding Engineering

This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Technician III, Molding & Tooling Engineering, is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes. You will apply advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities while adhering to procedures.

Job responsibilities:

• Handle highly complex technical tasks related to mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes, supporting operations and contributing to efficiency within defined procedures
• Make significant decisions within the scope of your tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation
• Ensure rigorous quality control and comply with regulatory requirements

Minimum requirement:

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Automation/Electrical Engineering (Must have)

- Minimum Diploma in Engineering qualification

- Candidate with certification qualification + automation experience can be considered

- Basic molding machine experience

- Mechatronics in PLC & Automation skills

- Able to work in 12 hour rotational shift
