Role:Oracle US Payroll – Consultant / Sr. Consultant Location: Bangalore | Hyderabad | Pune | Chennai Experience:3-11 Years Work Mode: Hybrid Type: Contract to Hire Shift time: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST Notice Period:Immediate Joiners Requirements Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, with strong hands-on experience in US Payroll. Support payroll processing, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of functional issues. Configure and maintain Payroll Elements, Balances, Adjustments, Taxation, and Calculation Cards. Develop and troubleshoot Fast Formulas. Work on HDL-related payroll activities and data updates. Support payroll year-end processes and related activities. Implement configuration changes, enhancements, and functional improvements in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll. Review and communicate changes related to Oracle HCM Cloud releases, patches, and upgrades. Prepare and execute test plans and test scripts for upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and enhancements. Perform impact analysis to ensure application stability following Oracle Cloud updates. Act as an Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide best-practice guidance on HCM business processes. Work directly with clients to understand requirements, analyze issues, recommend solutions, and drive resolution. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions and design documents. Create and maintain functional design documents and configuration workbooks. Follow ticket management guidelines and ensure timely, accurate communication with clients and stakeholders. Participate in internal and client knowledge-transfer sessions. Proactively review data, configurations, and deliverables to identify potential issues and escalate when required. Coordinate with Oracle and third-party vendors for product and integration-related issues. Maintain effective communication with customers, project teams, stakeholders, and support teams. ? Required Experience & Skills 4–10 years of relevant experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Functional roles. Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll – US Payroll. Good understanding of US Payroll processing and functional configurations. Strong experience with: Payroll Elements Payroll Balances Payroll Adjustments Fast Formulas Taxation Calculation Cards Payroll Processing HDL Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex client-raised payroll issues. Ability to understand and interpret functional designs and identify appropriate solutions. Experience gathering requirements and working on payroll enhancements. Ability to create and update functional design documents. Experience creating test plans and test scripts for Oracle Cloud upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
