The Powder Coating team is responsible for preparing the product surface for final coating and painting using a variety of tools before the product moves to final assembly. This includes applying coating, working with machines, and ensuring high quality of metal door and frame systems surfaces. The goal of the Powder Coat Processor is to assure complete and proper surface preparation is performed so coating coverage, thickness, and cure is completed to the manufacturing standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

→Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle parts and tools with precision.
→Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.
→Standing Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
→Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
→Lift Assist Devices: Use of overhead crane and forklift with training may be required.
→Environmental Exposure: Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.
→Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Respirator, fall protection, welding hood, etc. may be required depending on job duty and/or work area
