Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Help shape the financial future of mission-driven behavioral health care. AllHealth Network is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team, strengthen financial sustainability, and build the organizational capability that supports access to care across the communities we serve.

Our team works daily to nurture growth and recovery by caring for each other, our clients, and our future. The CFO will advance that mission by leading financial recovery, turning insights into action, and building a financial foundation that supports long-term stability and mission-aligned growth.

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial stewardship, strategy, and sustainability of AllHealth Network. This executive role combines forward-looking financial leadership with hands-on execution across corporate finance, multi-year planning, rolling forecasts, budgeting, liquidity management, capital allocation, accounting, and revenue cycle.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO partners with executive and clinical leadership and the Board of Directors to evaluate program economics, anticipate risks and opportunities, strengthen internal accounting capability, and build financial accountability across the organization. The CFO also supports the foundation’s launch and sustainable growth.

This position provides leadership to the Vice President – Finance & Accounting, Payroll Manager, VP Revenue Cycle, and Director of Operations and Safety, with oversight of their assigned teams.

  • Lead the organization’s financial turnaround through a recovery plan, measurable milestones, and executive accountability to restore liquidity and operating stability; transition recovery efforts into sustained financial health and disciplined growth.
  • Direct enterprise financial strategy, scenario planning, and resource allocation. Advise executive leadership and the Board on financial trade-offs, recovery priorities, and mission-aligned investments.
  • Drive cost restructuring, revenue diversification, cash-flow management, and capital allocation. Evaluate program economics while protecting mission-critical services.
  • Partner with executive leadership and the Board to launch the foundation, establishing its financial model, startup budget, funding strategy, and financial governance.
  • Apply knowledge of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations to entity structure, reporting, and interentity arrangements. Partner with legal and tax advisors on charitable-fund controls, cost allocation, and permitted activities.
  • Build financial capability and profit-and-loss ownership across clinical leadership in partnership with executive leadership, the Chief Clinical Officer, and Human Resources. Establish program-level reporting, dashboards, and operating reviews covering revenue, cost, margin, and productivity.
  • Train and coach clinical leaders to interpret financial results, manage budgets, and make informed decisions that protect care quality and access. Establish accountability for financial outcomes, corrective actions, and follow-through.
  • Prepare and present accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and actionable analysis for management and the Board. Identify trends, explain variances, and recommend corrective action.
  • Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Promote transparency, integrity, and sound financial stewardship.
  • Lead annual budgeting and multi-year planning with department input and alignment to program goals. Oversee preliminary reports, budget analysis, draft reviews, and compilation of the approved budget; maintain reliable rolling forecasts.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, revenue cycle/accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management. Maintain internal controls, financial policies, and scalable systems that safeguard assets.
  • Oversee annual audits and fiscal year-end accounting, coordinate requested schedules and audit activities, and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Coordinate annual general liability and property insurance renewals with the organization’s insurance broker. Identify and mitigate financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks.
  • Partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate pay for 800+ employees, review biweekly payroll and cash-flow implications, and oversee accurate employee account information in the payroll system.
  • Serve as liaison to the Board Finance Committee. Deliver clear financial results, analysis, and recommendations, and support Board development in financial oversight and nonprofit best practices.
  • Oversee restricted and unrestricted funds, grant budgets, financial reports, and required documentation. Partner with program and development teams to support funding opportunities and compliance with grant agreements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams. Foster a collaborative, service-driven culture, professional development, and cross-departmental communication.
  • Assess and implement financial technologies and process improvements that strengthen data accuracy, efficiency, and reporting. Stay informed about nonprofit finance and mental health sector funding.
  • Represent AllHealth Network on the Grovewood Community Development Finance and Audit Committee, including analysis of financial records for committee and Board reporting.
