  • Assist in identifying field concerns related to automotive electrical and mechanical systems and components.
  • Investigate assigned field quality issues through vehicle testing, bench testing, and technical analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports, summarize findings, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze field quality information, including consumer surveys, warranty data, consumer affairs reports, field staff reports, and technical hotline data.
  • Track corrective actions and support the development of technical service bulletins and other quality improvement initiatives.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Students entering their Junior, Senior, or Master's program at the start of the upcoming academic term.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and continuously develop technical and professional skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Interest in automotive systems, vehicle quality, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
  • Ability to perform work onsite at Smyrna, TN.
