Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Aftersales BI to join our team in Franklin, TN.

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating end-user requirements into effective technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize, brainstorm, and deliver innovative and visually compelling data solutions.

  • Design, develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions using tools such as SQL, Python, Informatica Prep, Snowflake, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects. Manage data extracts, validate outputs, and perform detailed data analysis.

  • Recommend and implement tools and strategies for efficient data storage within data marts and data lakes. Support online analytical processing (OLAP) and maintain analytics platforms to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for end-user consumption.

  • Lead end-user testing efforts and develop database queries to assess impact, identify issues, and troubleshoot effectively. Drive iterative development processes and continuous improvement across team deliverables.

  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements and identify opportunities to enhance existing systems, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

Ability to perform work onsite at Nissan North America HQ – Franklin, TN

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, definitions, and data elements through an electronic data glossary to support transparency and data governance.

  • Perform and document data analysis, validation, and mapping/design activities by integrating and analyzing data from multiple source systems.

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities, balancing concurrent projects while working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experienced in development of Performance Scorecard/KPI related dashboards related to data-driven business analysis in a business, vs. an IT role. Some experience in designing effective visualizations of analytics.

  • 6+ years of directly related professional-level experience required and 5+ years of database experience. Business, Aftersales, Purchasing, or Marketing experience is highly preferred.

  • Technical automotive parts experience beneficial.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to deliver clear, actionable insights.

  • In-depth knowledge of data warehouse concepts, architecture, and best practices to support scalable and efficient data solutions.

  • Advanced experience in ETL development using SQL and Python to build and maintain data pipelines that support business use cases and data ingestion processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Intermediate knowledge of data-related end-user desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).  Proficient with mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day to day situations.  Technical and/or programming experience preferred.
