Strategic Partnership Agreements Manager

Main Missions & Responsibilities under the supervision of the Strategic Partnerships Agreements Manager:

• →Provide legal advice and support to operational teams on manufacturing projects, strategic collaborations, special projects, and intra-group transactions in AMIEO region (the “legal expertise scope”).
• →Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and documents within the expertise scope, including project investments, product development, manufacturing and procurement, technical assistance, licensing, and service agreements.
• →Handle multiple legal projects in parallel, including dispute resolution, contract template development, and process-efficiency initiatives.
• →Prepare and deliver engaging legal training modules; actively participate in workshops and knowledge-sharing groups.
• →Build collaborative working relationships with internal clients, regional and global legal team members, and Alliance partner colleagues.
• →Support the Manager and the Downstream and Opportunities General Manager with additional tasks as needed.

• →Excellent communication skills, especially legal drafting in English (ability to quickly draft and revise documents from scratch or templates).

• →Master’s Degree in Law
• →Legal practice and experience in contract drafting of at least 4 years.
• →Native or near-native English proficiency; French is a plus but not required.
• →Excellent contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.

Support the “Strategic Partnership Agreements” team within the AMIEO Legal Department, covering AMIEO. Provide business-oriented legal support—advice, training, drafting, review, and negotiation of various contracts—primarily related to manufacturing and projects. This role is pivotal for major initiatives with OEMs (future) partners to Nissan and requires close collaboration with Nissan’s global headquarters in Japan and its subsidiaries.

Legal expertise

Knowledge in contractual and commercial laws as well as in legal activities related to industrial operations

Automotive Industry Knowledge

Applies deep understanding of automotive operations, regulations, and supply chain dynamics to support strategic decisions and compliance.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Manages financial planning with accuracy and insight, aligning legal or operational budgets to business goals and identifying cost efficiencies

Contracts Management

Oversees the drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle of contracts, ensuring legal soundness, risk mitigation, and business value.

English (Fluent)

Excel / Advanced Spreadsheets
