Manager Vehicle NVH Test/PPC

RNTBCI PL is seeking a Manager Vehicle NVH Test/PPC to lead and manage Vehicle NVH Testing and Performance Planning & Control activities. The role is responsible for delivering NVH business needs through effective management of resources, time, facilities, competencies, and project milestones. The position will drive NVH target management from upstream development phases through mass production and serial life management while ensuring Quality, Cost, and Timing (QCT) objectives are achieved.

• →Lead and manage the Vehicle NVH Test and Performance, Planning & Control (PPC) team, including Performance Leaders, Test Leaders, Test Engineers, and Test Support personnel.
• →Be responsible for achieving agreed NVH targets during different phases of vehicle development while meeting Quality, Cost, and Timing (QCT) objectives.
• →Guide and motivate engineers in detailed NVH root-cause analysis, countermeasure proposal, validation, and implementation.
• →Ensure implementation and follow-up of NVH countermeasures during production and field operations.
• →Manage NVH project activities and coordinate with Performance Leaders and Engineering Teams to achieve project milestones.
• →Review synthesis reports, EQM opinions, and ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
• →Manage test activities through effective planning, scheduling, and contingency management.
• →Interact with internal experts, technical networks, and global stakeholders to improve existing NVH test procedures and adopt new technologies.
• →Provide technical guidance, expert opinions, diagnostics, prognosis, and solutions for critical NVH issues.
• →Conduct market watch activities, competitive benchmarking, and monitor industry trends to identify NVH improvement opportunities.
• →Understand Indian market-specific NVH requirements and predict future trends through quick benchmarking and customer-focused evaluations.
• →Assess quality concerns, identify root causes, and define corrective action plans to achieve agreed quality targets.
• →Capitalize lessons learned and update NVH processes to improve future project execution.
• →Manage team workload, workforce planning, and people-development activities including coaching, mentoring, and delegation.
• →Procure, maintain, calibrate, and optimize utilization of NVH facilities, instruments, and test equipment.
• →Collaborate closely with Engineering, ISP, VTPM, CAE NVH, PWT NVH, Program teams, Quality teams, Renault Corporate, RNAIPL, and external agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
• →Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and testing standards.

• M.E. / M.Tech / B.E. / B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Essential: Minimum 12 years of experience in Vehicle Testing within an Automotive OEM environment.
• Desirable: 15-20 years of overall experience in Automotive OEM, R&D, or Product Planning.
• Strong knowledge of passenger vehicle performance requirements and customer expectations.
• In-depth understanding of vehicle NVH performance and target management.
• Hands-on experience in NVH measurements, testing, analysis, and validation.
• Knowledge of Test and CAE methodologies related to NVH development.
• Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, technologies, and competitor benchmarking.
• Proven experience in project management, milestone tracking, and technical decision-making.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a structured analytical approach.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Good coordination, cross-functional stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and business-development mindset.
