Allied Global is seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Analyst to join the Compliance team of one of our U.S.-based clients.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy going beyond dashboards and reporting, diving deep into complex datasets to uncover insights, identify patterns, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable business recommendations.

🔹 Investigate business questions from definition through final recommendations

🔹 Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities

🔹 Assess data quality, identify root causes of inconsistencies, and document findings

🔹 Apply statistical reasoning and hypothesis testing to support decision-making

🔹 Develop repeatable and scalable data workflows

🔹 Build SQL and Python-based solutions to automate analysis processes

🔹 Translate technical findings into clear business insights for stakeholders

🔹 Partner with business and engineering teams to improve data quality and data collection processes

✔ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field

✔ 2+ years of experience in a data-focused analytical role

✔ 2+ years of hands-on SQL experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar)

✔ 1+ year of experience using Python or R for data analysis and transformation

✔ Experience working with raw, complex, or unstructured datasets

✔ Understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, correlation vs. causation, and data interpretation

✔ Experience documenting transformation logic, methodologies, and analytical assumptions

✔ Familiarity with Git or version control tools
