You’ll join a mature multi-tenant SaaS product serving accounting firms, working across billing, payments, scheduling, reporting, documents, and client workflows.

This role combines Applied AI, PostgreSQL, Node.js APIs, and front-end development. You’ll be expected to take features from backlog to production while also introducing AI capabilities that are secure, measurable, reliable, and cost-effective.

• →Design and ship practical LLM-powered features using model APIs, structured outputs, tool calling, retrieval, validation, and safe fallbacks.
• →Build AI features with strong attention to security, tenant isolation, authorization, prompt-injection protection, and auditability.
• →Measure AI quality, reliability, latency, and cost through evaluations and production monitoring.
• →Design database schemas, write and optimize SQL, perform migrations and backfills, and investigate data-quality issues.
• →Deliver Jira tickets end-to-end across Node.js, PostgreSQL, Angular, background jobs, and third-party integrations.
• →Diagnose production issues using logs, traces, metrics, execution plans, and code history.
• →Write meaningful automated tests and support QA through the release process.
• →Use AI coding tools responsibly while validating generated code through testing and direct review.

✔ Proven experience shipping at least one meaningful LLM-backed feature to real users.
✔ Strong understanding of LLM APIs, prompt/context design, structured outputs, tool/function calling, RAG, embeddings, and retrieval quality.
✔ Ability to design AI systems that account for hallucinations, prompt injection, sensitive data, provider failures, latency, and cost.
✔ Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregation, and timezone-aware queries.
✔ Experience reading execution plans, designing indexes, and troubleshooting database performance.
✔ Strong understanding of transactions, isolation, locks, deadlocks, consistency, and safe retry behavior.
✔ Approximately 5+ years of senior-level experience delivering and operating production web applications.
✔ Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js experience, including REST APIs, authentication, authorization, background jobs, and integrations.
✔ Experience with a modern front-end framework — Angular preferred, with strong React or Vue experience also considered.
✔ Ability to independently take a ticket from requirements → development → testing → QA → production release.
✔ Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical decisions, assumptions, risks, and production impact.
