Planning, Costing & Sourcing Associate Supply Chain Opportunity

Allesco Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning, Costing, and Sourcing Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting purchasing, product sourcing, inventory planning, and customer quotation activities. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with data, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating across multiple departments to ensure products are sourced efficiently and competitively.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests for quotation (RFQs) and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to support pricing and sourcing decisions.
• Research and develop new domestic and international supplier relationships.
• Compare supplier pricing, lead times, quality, and capabilities.
• Assist with inventory planning and replenishment activities.
• Monitor purchasing trends, material costs, and market conditions.
• Support vendor negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate costing, sourcing, and purchasing records.
• Work closely with sales, operations, customer service, and suppliers to meet customer requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools to analyze purchasing and inventory data.
• Assist with special projects related to procurement, sourcing, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, costing, inventory planning, quoting, customer service, manufacturing, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, fasteners, or related industries is a plus.
