Job Title: Operations Lead, Order Management

Location: New York, NY

Company: allwhere

allwhere is a D.E. Shaw-backed tech startup reimagining how companies manage IT assets for distributed teams. Whether remote, hybrid, or in-office, we make it seamless to procure, ship, and track the equipment teams need to stay productive. We’re growing fast—and looking for sharp operators who thrive in dynamic environments and want to help scale high-impact systems from the ground up.

We’re looking for an experienced operations lead to run our Order Management lane. This is a true player-coach role: you’ll lead a team of specialists, manage daily execution, step directly into complex orders and escalations, and establish the standards that govern how orders and purchases move through our systems. You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain to improve performance as the business scales. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator who enjoys leading people, bringing structure to complex workflows, and staying close to the work.

  • Improve team efficiency through process standardization, automation, and practical use of AI
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, order management, supply chain, procurement, or a related function
  • A track record of supervising or formally leading an operations team, including coaching team members, assigning work, and managing performance
  • Hands-on experience managing team queues, SLAs, workload, and day-to-day execution
  • Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, or vendor management strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and standardize processes in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
