Supplier Quality Lead

ACG_3862_JOB Our client, who is a leading electric motorbike company, is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Chair meetings with suppliers to resolve technical issues related to materials, parts, and components. Evaluate and qualify new suppliers in accordance with the company’s requirements and established standards. Conduct annual supplier audits, issue relevant audit checklists, and follow up on suppliers’ improvement action plans after each audit. Perform on-site supplier visits to conduct root cause analysis and verify Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports related to supplier quality issues. Work closely with suppliers to ensure all outstanding CAPA actions are closed in a timely manner. Collaborate with Product Development and Research & Development teams to define process parameters and acceptance criteria, ensuring supplier process capabilities effectively meet product and process requirements. Provide technical expertise and support for supplier development initiatives to ensure industry standards and best practices are effectively implemented and maintained across the supplier base. Train suppliers on company systems, standards, and requirements, and monitor supplier activities to identify and address non-conformities. Lead the supplier approval process by assessing the manufacturing capabilities of potential new suppliers. Oversee new product launches from a quality perspective, including activities such as control plan development, first inspection, and other relevant quality assurance activities. Issue and maintain non-conformance records and supplier CAPA tracking logs to monitor all improvement actions committed to by suppliers. Prepare and maintain supplier claims tracking reports to monitor and follow up on all supplier compensation matters. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality management roles, preferably within the automotive industry or a related sector. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, including FMEA, SPC, CAPA, PDCA, 8D Analysis, 7 QC Tools, TQM, Kaizen, and other relevant quality improvement methodologies. Proven experience in leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Good English communication skills.
