Altenar is an international IT company founded in 2011, with offices in Malta, Greece, Georgia, the Isle of Man, Brazil, and Uruguay. We specialize in high-load software development and provide one of the leading technology solutions for the iGaming industry worldwide.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Technical Delivery Management Team.
This role is not limited to documenting requirements. The Business Analyst at Altenar acts as an extension of Product Owners and Product Managers, helping to transform business needs into clear, structured, and delivery-ready requirements. The BA identifies hidden dependencies, risks, constraints, compliance and security considerations, and ensures that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of the expected outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements & Documentation:Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into actionable functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows.
- Stakeholder & Delivery Alignment: Facilitate discovery workshops and coordinate effective communication across Product, Engineering, QA, UX, DevOps, and external vendors.
- Impact & Compliance Analysis: Map As-Is/To-Be processes (BPMN), identify hidden dependencies/risks, and ensure alignment with regulatory, security, and compliance constraints.
- Feature Lifecycle Ownership: Support features from discovery through implementation, testing, and production release, managing documentation versioning and changes.
- AI-Assisted Workflows: Leverage AI tools and agents to streamline documentation drafting, backlog analysis, meeting summarization, and risk identification.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Domain Experience: Proven track record as a Business, System, or Product Analyst in IT/software development.
- SDLC & Agile: Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery practices.
- Analytical Toolkit:Mastery of functional documentation, use cases, business rules, and dependency mapping.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to challenge requirements constructively to find the true business goal.
Language: Good written and spoken English.
Will Be a Plus:
- Experience in iGaming, sportsbooks, betting, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, databases, and high-load systems.
- Proficiency with BPMN, UML, Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Figma.
- Practical experience using AI tools for business analysis and automation.
