CSE Punching Level 0

This position supports customers with, but not limited to, Punch Presses with and without Automation by providing field service to ensure customer satisfaction. This includes both installation and service of AMADA machines. Field service personnel receive continuing education on new machines and technologies. This role is not exclusive to the same functions as other Amada machines. This position encompasses the Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas.

• Complete all aspects of the installation:
• Follow up on any aspects outside of the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.
• Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.
• Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.
• Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.)
• Regular travel.
• Provide feedback to the manager on any machine and customer issues that require further action.
• Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by complying with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.

• Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope.
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.

• A HS Diploma or GED is needed. A 2 year or 4 year degree in Engineering or any relative field of study is preferred.  

• $30.00 per hour but is negotiable with relevant machine tool industry experience

• Routine travel, with overnight and weekend stays as needed
