Certified Assistant Director

• →Support curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and classroom quality
• →Assist with staff hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision
• →Ensure compliance with Article 47 health and safety regulations
• →Maintain student and staff records and assist with inspections
• →Serve as acting director when needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• NY Teaching Certification
• 2–5 years of preschool experience; leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of NYC Article 47 regulations
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

• Classroom management and child development knowledge
• Leadership and problem-solving
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Preschool setting; active engagement with children; may lift up to 40 lbs
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift; occasional extended hours
