Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Freight Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transportation industry and experience in analyzing freight data to identify cost-saving opportunities for our clients. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze freight data and identify cost-saving opportunities for clients

- Monitor and track freight rates and market trends

- Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates for our clients

- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods

- Prepare and present reports on freight analysis and cost-saving initiatives

- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements

- Assist in the development and implementation of transportation strategies for clients

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in freight analysis or transportation logistics

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Prior experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus
