Job Description:

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance. As an Information Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' information systems.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards

- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities

- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and respond to security incidents

- Perform security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry and government regulations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement security controls and solutions

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices

- Provide guidance and support to other team members on information security matters

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, risk management, or compliance

- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners

- Familiarity with industry and government regulations such as NIST, FISMA, and HIPAA

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus
