About the Role
~1 min readThe Senior Associate Graphic Designer supports pharmaceutical marketing initiatives by developing high-quality, compliant, and visually engaging creative assets across digital and print channels. This role partners closely with CoLAB producers, marketing sponsors, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and agency collaborators to translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, compelling visual communications.
While Agency of Record (AOR) partners lead creative strategy and primary campaign development, the Senior Associate Graphic Designer independently adapts, extends, and scales approved creative across multiple channels and formats. The role requires strong design expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight while ensuring brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and production excellence.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and develop marketing materials for pharmaceutical products, including sales aids, presentations, infographics, emails, websites, social media assets, journal advertisements, conference materials, and print collateral.
- →Independently execute and adapt approved creative concepts across channels while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, corporate identity, and regulatory requirements.
- →Collaborate with CoLAB producers, marketing, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) teams to incorporate feedback and ensure compliance.
- →Translate complex medical and scientific content into clear, visually engaging designs for healthcare professional and patient audiences.
- →Provide creative recommendations on layout, content hierarchy, and visual communication approaches.
- →Develop production-ready files and prepare final artwork for digital and print production.
- →Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- →Partner with CoLAB producers to assess project scope, feasibility, and level of effort, supporting efficient execution and handoffs.
- →Maintain and optimize creative assets, templates, and design libraries.
- →Apply feedback constructively and drive revisions through MLR review cycles.
- →Share best practices and provide guidance to junior designers or external production partners as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Strong portfolio of varied creative assets in digital and print is REQUIRED.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 5–9 years of graphic design experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); experience with Figma and PowerPoint preferred.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, and production best practices.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and regulated review processes (e.g., MLR).
- Strong visual design and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance creativity with regulatory and brand requirements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality.
- Openness to feedback and iterative design processes.
- Comfort operating within established workflows and approval processes.
Nice to Have

- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and basic UX principles.
