We are seeking a proactive and energetic Senior Associate of Corporate Affairs to join our team in Tokyo. The role supports the planning and execution of corporate affairs initiatives that advance Amgen's business priorities and corporate reputation in Japan.
Operating in a matrixed environment, partnering closely with cross-functional teams in Japan, the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region, and global Corporate Affairs, the role contributes to corporate communications (including internal and digital communications), and therapeutic area Corporate Affairs initiatives.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support preparation and on-site logistics for internal and external events such as Town Hall meetings and Kick Off meetings.
- →Maintain and regularly update corporate communications assets, including corporate brochures, company presentations, fact sheets, and other corporate collateral.
- →Develop communications, newsletters, and other internal communication materials and initiatives that foster employee engagement and reinforce company culture.
- →Manage and update Amgen Japan's digital communications channels, including the corporate website and social media platforms. Monitor digital communications performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- →Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to support the successful execution of corporate affairs initiatives and projects.
- →Leverage generative AI and analytics tools to elevate quality and speed of communications and improve working efficiency.
- →Provide communications and patient advocacy support across therapeutic areas, as business priorities require.
Requirements
~1 min read- Master’s degree and 2 years of Communications and/or Advocacy experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Communications and/or Advocacy experience.
- Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations or an adjacent field.
- Experience managing digital communication channels such as corporate websites and social media platforms, and organizing corporate events including Town Hall meetings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across multinational teams.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality results.
