We're looking for a dependable and safety-focused Driver to provide safe, professional transportation for youth to and from program activities, appointments, and other assigned locations. This role requires excellent judgment, a commitment to safety, and a passion for making a positive impact through meaningful interactions with youth. Minimum Education, Training and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements; and current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate for applicable positions.
- Safe driving record that meets AMIkids and insurance carrier requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with youth.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Safely transport youth to and from program activities, school, appointments, and other assigned destinations.
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of youth during transportation.
- Operate AMIkids vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws, Institute policies, and defensive driving practices.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, respect, and sound judgment.
- Assist with boarding and exiting vehicles while ensuring youth safety at all times.
- Support day trips, recreational activities, and occasional overnight or weekend trips as needed.
- Administer First Aid and CPR during emergencies when required.
- Assist with special projects and other duties to support program operations.
