Youth Apprenticeship Program

Join Amity Foundation in our partnership with the ELAC and Cuesta College Registered Apprenticeship Programs to pursue a career in the field of Substance Use and Behavioral Disorder Counseling. This apprenticeship pathway provides college education, hands-on training, and career development support. Participants will receive free program-specific instruction, in-person or online, and complete 2,000 hours of paid fieldwork. A total educational stipend of $2,450 is distributed in 4 payments throughout the duration of the program.
If you are passionate about helping others and making a difference in your community, apprenticeship can help you build the skills and earn the credentials needed to succeed in the field.
Participants must be 18 – 24 and identify with at least one of the following at the time of enrollment:
- Current or former foster youth
- Current or formerly Pell eligible
- Current or formerly WIOA eligible
- Currently or formerly enrolled in a Title I school
- Residing in a high poverty census tract area
- Formerly incarcerated
- Youth parent
- Person with a disability
