Accounts Payable

  • Import and process vendor invoices across both brands and both ERP systems.
  • Upload landlord invoices into the lease accounting platform; ensure accurate ASC 842 recording and GL posting.
  • Execute weekly payment runs — ACH, check, and wire — and manage vendor relationships.
  • Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and clear outstanding items at month-end.
  • Manage AP aging and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments.
  • Communicate with landlord accounting teams on invoice inquiries, payment status, and lease administration matters.

Month-End Close

  • Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaids, CapEx, reclassifications, and adjusting entries across both brands.
  • Maintain prepaid amortization and CapEx tracking schedules.
  • Post payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll and disbursement accounts at month-end.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and subledger-to-GL tie-outs.
  • Assist with audit preparation, lender reporting schedules, and year-end close.
  • Support any retail accounting function as required, including ad hoc analysis and close-related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA candidate strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle close experience — journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation required.
  • Full-cycle AP ownership experience required.
  • Retail or multi-location business experience a plus.
  • Intercompany or multi-entity accounting experience a plus.
  • Solid GAAP knowledge; accrual accounting fundamentals required.
