Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assemble, repair, troubleshoot, inspect, and test complex medical equipment and subassemblies.
• Build and service high-voltage power supplies, RF modules, combiners, capacitor banks, gradient amplifiers, wiring harnesses, and liquid-cooled assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, work instructions, and engineering changes.
• Perform diagnostics and testing activities and partner with Engineering to resolve product issues.
• Train, mentor, and support less-experienced assemblers.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, PPE, ESD, and hazardous material requirements.
- →Help drive production, repair, quality, and delivery goals.
• Prioritize work assignments and support daily production schedules.
• Coordinate materials, inventory, and workflow to ensure on-time completion.
• Lead and participate in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-training efforts and support employee development.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of mechanical, electromechanical assembly, repair, or related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform complex assembly, troubleshooting, teardown, and repair with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• SAP and/or Agile experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
