Manufacturing Engineer

• →Analyze existing production processes and implement Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma techniques to lower production costs, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• →Analysis of technical parameters for obsolete parts and identification of sources for direct replacement parts that meet form, fit and function requirements. 
• →Create and maintain Manufacturing Bill of Materials and Work Instructions for End-of-life components, sustaining production and service support.  
• →Establish and monitor quality control standards, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and minimize safety risks in the production environment.
• →Support the assessment and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholders. 
• →Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process.
• →Maintaining current data and providing status on technical and schedule performance issues.  

• Requires a BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters Degree with 2+ years. May consider additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in Systems Engineering processes and procedures
• Experience/domain knowledge of requirements, verification, and validation is preferred 
• Experience with complex systems development and integration preferred 
• Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics
