Provide Tier 3 network engineering and operations support, including network design, implementation, installation, troubleshooting, and optimization across enterprise locations. Develop network solutions and deployment documentation, facilitate engineering design activities, and research and test new technologies for performance and interoperability. Resolve complex network issues independently and collaboratively while supporting network operations and administration activities across multiple sites.

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, or TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph prior to starting.

IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+.

CCNA certification.

Relevant education and experience:

GED + 9 years

Associate's + 7 years

Bachelor's + 5 years

Master's + 3 years

Experience with network engineering, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and operations.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex technical problems.

Ability to travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.

Ability to perform physical tasks associated with network installations, including unpacking and moving network equipment.

Ability to support up to 25% CONUS travel.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale network operations across multiple geographically dispersed or remote locations.

Demonstrated experience independently performing network engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution in remote locations with minimal or intermittent support from other tiers or locations.

Experience supporting network technology upgrades, installations, technical refresh projects, and new/enhanced network implementations.

Experience conducting site surveys and engineering design data calls.

Experience developing Network Operations SOPs and technical resolution reports for critical network outages.

Experience performing detailed incident analysis, root cause analysis, and problem resolution across enterprise network environments.

Experience provisioning and troubleshooting network routers, switches, and cryptographic devices using administrative access.

Experience reviewing and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
