Title: Pipelayer

Location: Washington, DC | Maryland | Virginia

Pay: $23–$28/hour | Non-Exempt, Hourly

Overview:

Anchor Construction is seeking a dependable pipelayer to support construction projects including utilities, concrete, site development, and infrastructure work. This position supports daily jobsite operations while maintaining safety and productivity across multiple locations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identify, install, connect, repair, and replace various types of pipe and fittings.
• Use hand tools, pipe lasers, tapping machines, and transit levels.
• Read blueprints to determine pipe locations, elevations, and slopes.
• Cut pipe to required lengths and angles and properly use installation materials, including glues and lubricants.
• Perform physically demanding/manual labor associated with pipe installation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and state safety requirements.
• Report safety hazards or jobsite concerns to appropriate supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
• Availability for overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus
