Join our growing team as a Cyber Security Technical Specialist and help shape the future of industrial cybersecurity. You will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, international teams, and initiatives that directly contribute to secure and resilient digital operations.

About the role

As a Cyber Security Technical Specialist, you will support the implementation and continuous development of ANDRITZ’s global OT Cyber Security Management System (CSMS). You will operate and develop cybersecurity capabilities across cloud, automation, vulnerability management, security testing, and incident response.

Working as part of a global cybersecurity team, you will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve the security of ANDRITZ products, deliveries, and services, while exploring and implementing new technologies and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

Working as technical specialist supporting cybersecurity platform capabilities
Managing and monitoring the security of automation cloud deployments, maintaining and further developing the cybersecurity product registry, supporting source code vulnerability management, and supporting ticketing, incident response, and CMDB activities.

Developing and operating selected existing OT cybersecurity tools
Monitoring automation deliveries, performing FAT/SAT cybersecurity and compliance scanning, managing OT vulnerability discovery, supporting centralized third-party component vulnerability management through SBOM scanning, and protecting publicly available OT service endpoints.

Developing new OT cybersecurity technical capabilities
Developing AI-supported cybersecurity solutions, supporting penetration and continuous security testing, evaluating business-area capabilities for global use, and developing new capabilities to automate and secure products, deliveries, and services.

Working as part of global cybersecurity team
Providing backup for other team members when needed and communicating and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Programming, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

3–5 years of experience in system administration, automation, engineering, or OT-related applications, with 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity.

Good understanding of OT cybersecurity risks, standards, and regulations, such as IEC 62443, NIST, EU NIS2, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.

Hands-on experience with cybersecurity platforms, cloud technologies, or similar technical tooling.

A technical mindset and interest in automation, security testing, vulnerability management, and emerging technologies.

Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to work effectively with international teams.

Ability to document technical solutions, deliver training, and share knowledge.

Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure AZ-104, are a plus.

Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the role.
