Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is hiring a passionate software developer to join our team in developing our web-based application using the latest .Net, Angular, and SQL technologies. This position is located in Jacksonville, FL.

We are looking for an application architect who wants to dive into our application stack and join a team of innovators who are taking it to the next level. The ideal candidate will bring a solid track record of not only building applications from the ground up but also enhancing an existing core. We challenge our developers to explore and exploit technology faster than others. You will have the opportunity to work in small, but complete, teams that have total ownership of applications and modules.

• →Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited U.S. institution
• →3–5 years of professional software development experience
• →Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET and .NET Core
• →Proficient in developing and maintaining web applications using Angular 2+ and TypeScript
• →Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web application development
• →Experience designing, developing, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, and query performance tuning
• →Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns
• →Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• →Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues
• →Experience writing unit and integration tests
• →Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• →Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• →Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• →Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
• Knowledge of application security best practices and secure coding standards
• Experience optimizing application performance and database queries
• Experience participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
• Experience working with modern front-end state management libraries (e.g., NgRx)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar) to improve productivity in coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while validating AI-generated output for accuracy, security, and maintainability

• Security Clearance not required at the time of hire. Candidate must be capable of obtaining a secret security clearance if required for future project assignments

• $33.00-$45.00 per hour / $68,640-$93,600 per year
