We are looking for a high-impact Investor Relations Manager to join our rapidly growing tech company. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, managing relationships with current and prospective investors, and leading us through various capital-raising cycles.
As we scale, you will be the bridge between our operational performance and the investment community, ensuring our narrative is compelling, accurate, and strategically aligned with our growth milestones.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop and execute a comprehensive IR strategy, effectively communicating our business model, growth trajectory, and market position to stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage investor presentations, quarterly reports, and internal communication decks for board meetings and shareholder updates.
- Proactively manage existing investor relationships, providing timely updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business developments.
- Lead the preparation and execution of fundraising rounds, including modeling, valuation analysis, and creating high-quality investment memoranda.
- Manage end-to-end due diligence processes, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, legal counsel, and potential investors.
- Own the data room management and ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready and investor-grade.
- Design and implement systems to transition from startup reporting standards to public-market compliant financial reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams for IPO preparation, including regulatory compliance, Prospectus preparation, equity story development, and market positioning.
- Monitor post-IPO compliance, disclosure requirements, and ongoing communication with equity research analysts.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support capital allocation decisions, burn rate analysis, and long-term strategic planning, among others
- Collaborate with FP&A Team and other department heads to track performance against budgets and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. (MBA or CFA charterholder is a strong plus).
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or a VC/PE firm.
- Tech Sector Expertise: Proven experience working within or for the technology/startup ecosystem.
- Strategic Capability: Deep understanding of fundraising cycles (Seed to Series C+) and exposure to IPO processes (pre & post).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into a compelling narrative for diverse stakeholders.
