Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting full-time and Locum Tenens, 1099 Emergency Physicians for service at the VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services to Veterans in a 24/7 Emergency Department. 
  • Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, treat, and manage emergent and urgent medical conditions. 
  • Perform triage, resuscitation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of patients.
  • Manage a wide variety of emergency conditions including:
    • Cardiovascular emergencies
    • Respiratory emergencies
    • Neurological emergencies
    • Psychiatric emergencies
    • Gastrointestinal conditions
    • Musculoskeletal injuries
    • Burns and trauma
    • ENT, eye, and urologic conditions
    • Endocrine and metabolic disorders
    • OB/GYN emergencies
    • Minor procedures including:
      • Incision and drainage
      • Laceration repair
      • Nail trephination
      • Nasal cautery
      • Bladder catheterization
      • Peripheral IV placement
      • Local anesthesia administration 
    • Advanced procedures including:

      • Endotracheal intubation
      • Central venous catheter placement
      • Chest tube placement
      • Cardioversion/defibrillation
      • Lumbar puncture
      • Arthrocentesis
      • Temporary pacemaker placement
      • Cricothyrotomy
      • Moderate/deep sedation
      • Fracture and dislocation reduction

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
    • Emergency Medicine, or
    • Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience.
  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State or Territory
  • Current DEA license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
  • Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation (National Agency Check with Written Inquiries)
  • No sponsorship available 

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
