Registered Vascular Sonographer / Specialist (RVS)

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for Registered Vascular Sonographer / Specialist (RVS) to work with us in support of the East Orange VA Medical Center located at 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. • →Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using diagnostic ultrasound equipment, including:
  • →Cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vascular studies
  • →Doppler imaging, waveform analysis, and intracranial exams
• →Capture, document, and evaluate high‑quality diagnostic images
• →Enter preliminary findings and reports into the VA electronic health record (CPRS/VistA)
• →Communicate results clearly and professionally with VA providers
• →Review consults and assist with appropriate scheduling of vascular studies
• →Serve as a liaison between the vascular lab, providers, and patients
• →Maintain ultrasound equipment, manage supplies, and perform basic troubleshooting
• →Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with VA policies
• →Respond to patient and provider inquiries
• →Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings
• →Complete required documentation, including notes for delayed or pending studies
• →Adhere to all VA clinical, ethical, and professional standards

• Registered Vascular Sonographer / Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification through CCI
• Active, full, unrestricted license to practice vascular ultrasound in any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing vascular ultrasound studies
• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and disease processes
• Proficiency with Doppler imaging and advanced vascular exams
• Ability to document and communicate clinical findings accurately
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
• Ability to pass VA background checks (NCHC and NACI)
• No sponsorship available

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
