Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Ultrasound Technologists to support the VA Portland Health Care System across its two sites: the Portland Medical Center at 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR 97239, and the Vancouver Campus located at 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661. Responsibilities

  • Perform abdominal, liver, renal, GYN, vascular, and small‑parts ultrasound exams.
  • Handle complex scanning and consult with radiologists for non‑standard exams.
  • Complete computer documentation, QA image review, and PACS transfers.
  • Schedule and prioritize exams, including emergency add‑ons.
  • Maintain radiation safety compliance and required PPE practices.
  • Maintain patient records, logbooks, and RIS/HIS documentation.
  • Perform on‑call emergency scans with 24/7 availability when scheduled.
  • Independently resolve scan issues and notify Chief Technologist of unusual cases.

Requirements

  • ARDMS registration in Abdomen/Small Parts + at least two additional certifications (e.g., RVT, OB/GYN, MSK).
  • BCLS certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in scrotal, pelvic, and ultrasound‑guided biopsies.
  • Minimum 3 years U.S. hospital experience.
  • Must have worked as an Ultrasound Tech in a hospital within the last 6 months.
  • Must maintain professional liability insurance and be available ≥ 6 months.
  • Additional requirement: recent hospital lab experience as a Vascular US Tech.
  • No sponsorship available 
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
